Mount Albert, nature will surprise you!
Located in the Gaspésie National Park, Mount Albert reaches an altitude of 1151 meters. You can do the round trip (short version) or a loop that will make you discover many landscapes: “Lac Quiscale”, “Belvédère du Versant” and the “Chute du Diable”. You can even take a detour to Mount Olivine, it’s approximately 3 kilometers.

Why choose this mountain ?
For me, the most important summit is Mount Albert. Certainly, it is quite difficult for a first hike. But the summit is a must. I hope you will have the chance, once in your lifetime, to climb to the top. Once I got to the top, I saw a side of greenery. All these green trees in your field of vision are sublime. But if you turn around, you will see a whole new decor, similar to the Grand Canyon. It’s like we’re in the middle of two biomes. We see here all the beauty of nature.
To unfold the hike
Follow the path to Mount Albert. Once you get to the top, go down the same path. Not much to see except at the top, that’s why I recommend the big tour which is about 20 kilometers. It is an addition of about 5 kilometers, but it is above all an opportunity to have a magnificent descent along a small water court with several magnificent views.
